In memory of Alain Rihoux : one of the founding members of Hope

Alain Rihoux, one of the founders and president of Hope for several years, passed away in June 2020. He leaves Hope with his vision of hope and his values. In his collection "Israel-Palestine : Hope", he wrote an article entitled "Economicie-cide". An economist by training, Alain was outraged by the way the Israeli government prevents any economic development of the Palestinians. He closes his article with words that will continue to guide Hope's action every day : "This is the Gordian knot in all its magnitude : who will have the lucidity, courage and strength to cut it ? I say : let those who are capable of building walls, build bridges instead !"
